One Life Teaching Series Overview

Geoff Young is going to be running a teaching series after church in the foyer cafe at 12:30pm for the next 6 weeks.

 

Here's a summary of what will be taught, and what you will get out of it.  

 

What will be covered?

Geoff will explain the Gospel without cliche and 'christian-ese,' in a way that relates to you.

Geoff will present the message of the Gospel from several different perspectives. The story of God. The story of us. Our place in God's plan.  

 

What will you learn?

A big picture understanding of the Gospel will change how you think and live. You will learn how the Gospel relates to your family and friends. And will learn how to share the gospel with others.

 

Do you need to have read the book The Guardian Universe to attend?

No.

'The Guardian Universe' is a handy tool to explore the underlying scriptures and principles in more detail, but it is not a prerequisite.

 

Can I ask Questions?

Yes.

Each study will begin with Geoff spends about 15 minutes setting the direction and 15 minutes looking at the underlying scriptures. Then he will open it up for questions. Geoff's goal is to help people find answers to their questions within the scriptures. It is a really valuable part of the session, as it sets a pattern for finding answers in the future, be it for yourself or friends and family.

 

What do I need to bring?

Bring your bible and some lunch. Tea and Coffee will be available at the church cafe.

 

Is this a life group?

After the initial 6 weeks, for anybody who would like to continue the group will continue to meet and study the scriptures bi-weekly as a Life Group.
